Group facilitation is a creative process and a useful life skill. It can be applied in many different contexts. A lot of groups have great need of facilitation when they have important, difficult and complex issues to discuss and deal with. This course will help you to develop some of the practical skills that Glencree has learned over a number of years facilitating a wide range of groups.

Facilitators support open communication and group dynamics and help make people feel safe. You need a range of skills to achieve this. We would like to share some of our experience in this two-day workshop.

The course will be an opportunity to acquire some of these skills and develop the confidence to work with more challenging issues. It would be useful for teachers, trainers, youth and community workers or anyone with an interest or need to work with groups.
