26 May 2006 - The Peace Boat visits Glencree. Glencree's International Programme Co-ordinator, Sean O'Boyle, joined the Peace Boat to run workshops on conflict resolution and the Northern Ireland Conflict.
26-28 May 2006 - The Sustainable Peace programme conducted a Wilderness Trip to Scotland for a diverse group of participants, as part of the initiative to cultivate a network of leaders in Sustainable Peace.
27-28 May 2006 - The first Farmers' Market of the season took place at the Glencree Visitor Centre. This Organic Shop will be open every weekend until the end of September.
28 May 2006 - Opening of new photographic Exhibition: "Broken bodies - broken dreams: violence against women exposed"
21 May 2006 - Glencree's Annual General Meeting was held at Glencree.

21 May 2006 - A beautiful new Mosaic, created by a team led by Gail Varian, was completed and unveiled at Glencree. In the shape of a heart - Glencree's logo - the many peices form an impressive whole.
10 –14 May 2006 - Glencree's Edudation Development Officer, Eamon Rafter attended the “Sending Organisations Hosting Organisations” (SOHO) Training Course in Bankya, Bulgaria, for participants in the European Voluntary Service (EVS). The training course was co-ordinated by SALTO-YOUTH Training and Co-operation Resources Centre based in Bonn, Germany.
4 May 2006 - Canadian Ambassador to Ireland, Mark Moher, hosted a reception at his residence in Killiney for Glencree and its supporters.
