Glencree Residential Accomodation - Fáilte Ireland Approved

Glencree has 19 bedrooms that can accommodation up to 62 people in multi bedded rooms all of which are en suite and very tastefully and individual decorated. Most of the bedrooms are thematically decorated, furnished and funded by Embassies and their staff such as the Australian, German, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Austria & South Africa.

More recently the International Fund for Ireland funded and upgraded 7 twin bedded all en suite rooms & decorated and furnished to a very high two star hotel standard with tea/coffee facilities in the bedrooms.

All bed linen is supplied along with comfortable social space with a TV and play station which was gratefully received from Sony Ireland on behalf of the Japanese Embassy.

All groups are welcome: backpackers, businesses, teams, community groups, cyclists, walkers, etc. Glencree accommodation is ideal for nature-lovers, for special corporate away-days, and even for weddings!

Meals are provided at the Armoury Cafe, a traditional restaurant and craft shop located in one of the historic buildings on-site.  More information on the Armoury Cafe is available here.

Staying overnight at the Glencree Centre is an exceptional and magical experience.

The fresh air and the breathtaking views of Sugarloaf Mountain and the Glencree Valley will put you in a different frame of mind and lead you to new perspectives.

People who come to Glencree always remark on the beauty of nature, often forgotten in the rush of our busy lives.  Take a walk through Glencree's wooded hillsides.

Glencree offers you a time to reflect and observe the simple beauty of each season.  The sounds of birds singing and streams gurgling form a backdrop for new ideas and thoughts.
