German Remembrance Day

German Remembrance Day is commemorated every year at the German Military Cemetery at Glencree, County Wicklow.

Each year, German Remembrance Day takes place on the third Sunday in November.  An ecumenical service is lead by Lutheran Pastors Joachim and Corinna Diestelkamp at St. Kevin's Church and a wreath-laying ceremony at the German Military Cemetery by the Ambassador of Germany.  The commemoration is followed by a seminar on a different topic each year.
