7/5/20: Following most recent Government guidelines, the staff of Glencree will continue to work remotely at this time. While our programme work continues, due to current restrictions on gatherings and in order to safeguard our extended community, our Annual Summer Event 2020 is now cancelled. We are hopeful that as easing measures come into place we will be able to host other key events in our calendar including our AGM (now likely to take place over Zoom), our fundraising PeaceWalk and Annual Lecture. Date or other changes to these events will be announced as appropriate as more information is made available from the Government.
24/3/20: In line with most recent government advice, the Glencree Centre including our offices, grounds & Armoury Café will remain closed. We hope to re-open on Sunday 19th April, or as soon as it is safe to do so. In the meantime, our peacebuilding and conflict resolution work will continue remotely. Please email queries to firstname.lastname@example.org and follow @GlencreeCentre on Facebook and Twitter for updates. We look forward to welcoming you back to Glencree as soon as we can.
16/3/20: In these exceptional times, the health, well-being and safety of our staff, customers and wider community is our number one priority. As such, and to play our part in stemming the spread of Covid-19, we have taken the decision to close the Armoury Café and the Glencree Centre campus at 5pm 16 March until 29 March. The team at the Glencree Centre for Peace & Reconciliation will continue to work remotely during this time. We will continually monitor the situation including HSE and government guidelines and will keep you informed of any updates. Please look out for each other and stay well.
13/03/20: Following the advice of the Irish Government regarding the evolving Covid-19/Coronavirus situation, the staff of the Glencree Centre will work from home from Friday 13 March and all events scheduled to 29 March will be postponed. As our phones will be unmanned, please email email@example.com with any queries.
In line with government guidelines, the Armoury Café at Glencree will remain open at this time. However, as the health and safety of our staff and customers is our first priority, we will continue to monitor the situation carefully and will advise of any updates.
