Eamon Rafter as Learning Co-ordinator and editor of ‘Deepening Reconciliation: Reflections on Glencree Peacebuilding’ was invited to speak at the Hay Festival Kells on the 26th June 2015. Eamon gave an account of the history of Glencree, the context and challenges of our work and the need to continue this work in the present day.
Glencree the Centre for Peace and Reconciliation launched ‘Deepening Reconciliation’ to celebrate its 40th anniversary, on Wednesday April 29th 2015. The event held in Iveagh House, the headquarters of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade was hosted by Jimmy Deenihan, TD Minister of State with specific responsibility for the Diaspora.
